Marine Aluminum Skylight Product Introduction

This marine aluminum skylight is our standardized core outfitting product, widely used for lighting and ventilation on the superstructure of fishing boats, work vessels, coastal cargo ships and yachts. It balances watertight performance, corrosion resistance and easy operation, ideal for new ship construction and vessel refitting projects.

The frame is integrally extruded from high-strength aviation-grade aluminum alloy with rounded corners to prevent crew injury. Anodized surface treatment greatly boosts anti-corrosion performance, resisting salt spray and humid marine air without rust or deformation during long offshore voyages. Thick black sealing rubber strips around the frame achieve full watertightness to stop seawater and rain penetration even under rough sea conditions.

The tinted thick tempered safety glass delivers soft daylight while blocking strong ultraviolet rays and heat. Impact and wind-pressure resistant, the glass withstands wave and debris hits without breaking, balancing lighting, sun shading and safety. Each skylight is fitted with multiple 316 stainless steel latches and hydraulic gas struts. Latches lock the panel tightly, while the struts hold the window open at any angle without hand support, making ventilation and overhead maintenance convenient with one-hand operation.

All hardware adopts 316 stainless steel to avoid rust and jamming in seawater, cutting long-term maintenance costs. Custom sizes are available according to ship hatch drawings for simple installation. Every unit undergoes factory watertight pressure testing with complete inspection records, compatible with BV, CCS, RINA and other classification society certifications for global shipyard approval.
