Lifa Chen Type A steel hatch cover is supplied with a full set of dedicated fasteners. It adopts a unique exterior-only opening structure. The hatch can only be operated and opened from the outside of the compartment, with no opening mechanism fitted inside, so the cover cannot be unlocked from within. It effectively prevents unauthorised opening from inside the compartment, suitable for spaces requiring external control and safety isolation, complying with vessel safety management regulations.

The hatch cover body is integrally fabricated from high-strength marine steel plate. It features a robust structure with outstanding impact resistance, deformation resistance and load-bearing capacity, adapting to complex marine working conditions for heavy-duty vessels. The complete set of supporting fasteners is treated for rust prevention. Even locking force ensures the cover presses evenly against the sealing surface, delivering reliable watertight and weathertight performance to block splashing waves, rainwater and seawater from entering the compartment.

Precision machining is applied to the cover and base for high flatness of the sealing surface. Equipped with anti-ageing marine-grade sealing strips, it maintains stable sealing performance under long-term marine conditions with high salt spray and humidity. The sealing strips are easy to replace and maintain. Lifa Chen carries out design, manufacturing and factory inspection fully in accordance with CCS classification society rules. Every unit undergoes multiple tests including locking strength and tightness to guarantee product reliability.
