Precision machining defines the quality of tail shafts. Supported by in-house heavy-duty CNC horizontal lathes, we conduct integrated turning for ultra-long, large-diameter tail shafts. Strict control is implemented over key indicators including journal concentricity, circular runout, taper dimensions and tolerances of sealing mounting positions. Dimensions are precisely aligned with propeller taper fitting requirements to prevent loosening, vibration and abnormal noise during navigation. Fine finishing on shaft journals meets assembly standards for oil seals and bearings, extending bearing service life and cutting vessel maintenance costs.

LiFa Propeller has established a complete quality inspection system covering incoming forging flaw detection, heat treatment, rough turning, finish turning, taper machining, dimension re-inspection and non-destructive testing. All machining processes follow clients' drawing requirements. Production complies with specifications of major classification societies with relevant test reports available.
