Lifa Marine Propulsion System | Custom Bronze Propeller & Propeller Shaft Finished in Workshop

Jul 18, 2026

Complete supporting marine propulsion system including custom bronze propeller and matching propeller shaft have finished all precision machining in our factory workshop. All core power components are independently cast, finely processed and inspected by Lifa team, suitable for bulk carriers, tugboats, fishing vessels, ferries and engineering ships. We supply one-stop reliable core power matching solutions for shipyards at home and overseas.

The propeller is integrally cast with high-strength nickel-aluminum bronze alloy. The material boasts outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion and cavitation abrasion, so it will not easily erode even during long-term navigation in coastal and open ocean saltwater environments. After casting, each blade is precisely milled by 5-axis CNC machine to form smooth and uniform curved surfaces. The blade profile is customized strictly according to vessel engine power, sailing speed and draft data to optimize water flow propulsion efficiency, reduce vibration and fuel consumption, balancing powerful thrust and energy saving performance.

Every finished propeller undergoes multiple strict quality inspections: dye penetrant testing, static balance calibration and dimensional rechecking to eliminate hidden dangers such as internal pores, cracks and unbalanced weight. It ensures smooth, low-noise navigation without shaking during long-term high-speed operation. Full certification documents from major classification societies like CCS and BV are available to meet mandatory inspection requirements for overseas vessels.

The matching propeller shaft is forged from high-strength marine alloy steel with integral quenching and tempering heat treatment to improve rigidity and torsion resistance, standing up to continuous torque impact during sailing. The shaft body goes through high-precision turning and mirror polishing. The matching taper and flange at shaft end are manufactured with precise tolerance to fit tightly with propeller hub, preventing loosening and water leakage during operation. Key shaft sections are coated with anti-corrosion paint for long-term underwater service, extending shaft service life and cutting maintenance costs for ship owners.
