As a high-performance and fully compliant energy-saving solution for vessels, the fins are mounted on propeller boss caps to effectively eliminate vortex energy loss behind the propeller hub, delivering a steady fuel saving of 5% to 8% and enabling efficient navigation for European fleets.

Working Principle

The specially designed fin structure disrupts the low-pressure vortex formed at the rear of the rotating propeller hub and recovers wasted kinetic energy. Such vortices not only reduce thrust efficiency, but also lead to cavitation corrosion and hull vibration.

Our PBCF are precision cast from Grade A nickel-aluminum bronze alloy, and processed via CNC machining and dynamic balance testing. They perfectly adapt to the flow field characteristics of propellers.
