One high pressure oil pump (0~100Mpa); One infrared laser thermometer; One dial indicator (0~20nm); One pressure gauge (0~100Mpa); Hydraulic oil (one barrel); High pressure oil pipe; Joints, etc.
1. After the oil seal and other components are installed into the tail shaft, clean the taper position of the tail shaft and the propeller taper hole. Align the circumferential marks made before disassembly and install the propeller into the tail shaft.
2. Clean the tail shaft and tail shaft nut threads, and install the tail shaft nut.
3. Install the connector, high-pressure oil pipe, oil pump, dial indicator, etc.
4. Use infrared laser thermometer to measure the temperature of the tail shaft and propeller and make records.
5. Close the radial stop valve. Apply 5Mpa pressure axially first.
6. Set the dial indicator to zero and open the radial stop valve. The axial and radial pressure shall be applied at the same time, and the readings of the axial pressing amount of the dial indicator shall be made every 5 Mpa pressure rise and recorded. Press straight to the front axle position.
7. After confirming the installation in place, close the axial stop valve first and remove the radial oil pressure. Hold for 10 minutes, and then remove the axial oil pressure. Measure the number of shaft heads again. After confirming that the installation requirements are met, remove the joint, oil pipe and other press-fitting tools.
8. Tighten the nut to the mark before disassembly and install the fuse.
9. The above process shall be reported to the ship inspector and the ship owner for confirmation.
