Our Overseas Exhibition Journey: EAST OCEAN's Maritime Appointment
Oct 30, 2025
At the end of October in Miri, Malaysia, the sea breeze carried business opportunities, and the exhibition hall of the Malaysia International Maritime & Offshore Exhibition (MIMEX) was bustling with people. As an enterprise deeply engaged in the maritime equipment field, our EAST OCEAN PROPELLER-MAKING Co., LTD showcased core products from its two production bases at this international exhibition, embarking on a wonderful exchange journey.
The company has laid out two production bases, each with its own focus. The Jiangmen, Guangdong factory specializes in the production of marine outfitting parts. The marine doors, windows, covers and seats neatly arranged in the workshop have all undergone strict anti-corrosion and pressure resistance tests, suitable for various commercial ships and special vessels. Relying on stable quality, they have become the preferred accessories for many shipyards. The Zhoushan, Zhejiang factory focuses on the production of core marine power components. The large propellers are slowly taking shape on the production line, and the supporting shafts and rudders accurately match the ship power system. Relying on the advantages of Zhoushan Port, products can be quickly delivered to domestic and foreign customers. At this exhibition, we displayed models and samples of products from both places together, intuitively demonstrating our full-chain supply capacity "from ship accessories to power cores".

The two exhibition days were full of freshness and gains every day. On the first day of the exhibition, our booth attracted many international customers. A shipowner from Singapore held a propeller sample and carefully inquired about the material and propulsion efficiency. The technical personnel from the Zhoushan factory disassembled the parameters on the spot and demonstrated the product performance with a 3D model. Some representatives from local shipyards in Malaysia were interested in the marine doors and windows from the Jiangmen factory. We showed the durability of the products in a high-salt spray environment through case videos and reached three preliminary cooperation intentions on the spot. At the industry forum on the next day, we shared the manufacturing experience of Chinese maritime equipment, discussed technical innovation directions with Japanese and Korean enterprises, and also unexpectedly met a fellow customer from Zhoushan. The collision of the native accent and business opportunities added a bit of warmth.

Although the two-day exhibition was short, it allowed us to see the broad prospects of the international maritime market. In the future, EAST OCEAN will continue to rely on its two production bases, bring Chinese-made maritime equipment, and ride the waves on a broader international stage.
