Lifa Outfitting specializes in manufacturing marine carbon steel watertight hatch covers, widely fitted on seagoing vessels, workboats and official crafts. They serve as emergency escape openings, cabin maintenance access and storage hatchways. Versions marked with ESC meet international marine safety standards.

The hatch is fabricated by welding marine carbon steel plates. Reinforcing stiffeners are fitted inside the box structure to improve rigidity and anti-deformation performance, suitable for pedestrian traffic and temporary equipment placement on deck. Equipped with spring balancing devices, the hatch can be opened and closed easily by one person.

We offer two locking types: multi-claw quick latches and handwheel multi-point compression system. After locking, the cover evenly compresses the rubber gasket to achieve reliable watertightness and prevent seawater from entering lower compartments. Hinges, latches and spindles are made of thickened carbon steel with anti-corrosion treatment to resist marine salt spray.

Production follows standard marine outfitting procedures, including plate cutting, bending, welding, grinding, rust removal and multi-layer marine anti-corrosion painting. Every finished unit undergoes watertight testing and repeated opening-closing inspection before delivery.

Custom dimensions, opening directions and locking structures are available. We can add emergency escape marking, handrails and other accessories as required. Pre-drilled holes on the flange facilitate onboard installation. Besides steel hatches, we also supply aluminum hatches, watertight doors, windows and louvers for one-stop procurement.
