D47 × P60 Compact High‑Speed Propeller | Custom‑Built For Client From The Philippines

Aug 05, 2026

This D47‑inch × P60‑inch 4‑blades high‑speed propeller set is custom‑developed by LIFA Propeller for our Philippine client. Drawing verification, casting, 5‑axis CNC machining and dynamic balance tests have been finished, and the complete set is ready for shipment.

The client operates small‑to‑medium high‑speed official craft. Philippine coastal waters feature high salinity and changeable sea conditions, placing high demands on overall propeller performance: reliable high‑speed thrust, excellent anti‑cavitation and seawater‑corrosion resistance. After evaluating proposals and workmanship from multiple suppliers, the client awarded us this custom order for a matched pair of port‑hand and starboard‑hand propellers.

Tailored for twin‑engine vessels, the package consists of one left‑hand and one right‑hand 4‑blades propeller. Cast from nickel‑aluminum‑bronze Cu3 alloy, the propellers deliver outstanding resistance against corrosion and cavitation‑erosion in locally high‑salinity seawater. We adopt NavCad and Propelements to optimize blade geometry for better water‑flow characteristics, alleviating cavitation, vibration and noise under high‑speed rotation. While generating robust thrust, they optimize fuel consumption and improve the vessel's speed and endurance. Each propeller goes through independent dynamic balance testing, ensuring smooth operation of both port and starboard shaft systems and lowering component wear during high‑speed sailing.

This order stems from well‑established customer trust. At the early project stage, our technical team communicated fully with the client. We double‑checked hull parameters, main‑engine power and design speed, and offered practical suggestions based on actual Philippine sea conditions. Even fine points such as rotation‑direction matching for port‑starboard propellers were carefully confirmed to eliminate potential risks during on‑board fitting. The client highly recognizes our full‑range in‑house production and survey capabilities.

At LIFA Propeller, all core procedures including casting, 5‑axis CNC machining, non‑destructive testing and dynamic balancing are completed in‑house with no outsourcing, so every process detail is controllable and traceable. We offer custom blade‑profile design according to real‑ship operating conditions and support certification from major classification societies such as CCS and RINA. Matched high‑speed propeller sets and energy‑saving accessories like PBCF propeller boss cap fins can be supplied in one single package.

For our Philippine overseas partners, we share on‑site photos and videos at key production milestones. Clients can follow the full manufacturing progress without travelling to our factory. Thanks to solid craftsmanship and open, efficient communication, LIFA Propeller has become the preferred choice for numerous ship‑owners and marine design institutes across the Philippines and wider Southeast Asia, receiving steady custom propeller enquiries from the region.
