Record Of Receiving Indonesian Batam Shipowner's Visit To Our Propeller Factory in Zhoushan

Recently, the Singapore APM2026 Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition came to a successful conclusion. This industry grand event, with the core theme of "The Future of Shipping, Solutions for Tomorrow", not only gathered top resources in the global maritime field, but also became an opportunity for us to connect with the Indonesian Batam shipowner. At the exhibition site, our high-efficiency and energy-saving propellers, with their design in line with the trend of green shipping, attracted the attention of a shipowner from Batam Island. After in-depth communication, he immediately decided to go to our propeller factory in Zhoushan to inspect our production strength and product quality on the spot.

After the shipowner arrived in Zhoushan by plane, I waited at the gate of our factory to receive him. As a Batam shipowner who guards the strategic chokepoint of the Strait of Malacca and is located in a concentrated shipbuilding industry area, he has extremely high requirements for the quality of marine equipment. In the finished product exhibition area, I focused on introducing the core advantage of our propellers - fuel saving and high efficiency. Combining with the actual needs of the shipping industry in Batam Island, I explained that we optimize the blade design through CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation technology and adopt 3D twisted blade technology, which can effectively reduce cavitation. Compared with traditional propellers, it can save 3%-20% of fuel consumption and improve propulsion efficiency. For ships sailing all year round, this can significantly reduce operating costs. The shipowner listened very attentively, raised questions from time to time, and I answered each one in detail. He showed great interest in the energy-saving effect of the products.

After the visit, we went to the office together to have in-depth communication around his specific needs. Combining the policy advantages of Batam Free Trade Zone and the operation characteristics of his own fleet, the shipowner put forward customized requirements such as propeller size and adaptive power, hoping that the products can better adapt to the ship types of his fleet. I carefully recorded every detail, introduced our customized service capabilities to him, promised to optimize the design plan according to his needs, and feedback the progress in a timely manner.
