LIFA Propeller Four-Blade Bronze Alloy Marine Propeller Product Introduction
Aug 12, 2026
The propulsion efficiency of a ship mainly depends on the material precision and hydrodynamic curved surface design of the propeller. With years of dedicated experience in the research, development and manufacturing of marine propellers, LIFA Propeller has launched this four-blade bronze alloy propeller. Tailored for yachts, official patrol boats, offshore working vessels, small passenger ships and other vessels, it features sophisticated hydrodynamic shaping, high-strength corrosion-resistant materials and rigorous dynamic balancing technology. It delivers stronger thrust, lower vibration and noise, and excellent fuel economy, serving as an ideal core supporting component for the power system of various small and medium-sized ships.

The entire propeller is integrally precision-cast from Grade A high-quality nickel-aluminum bronze alloy (industry-standard Cu3 bronze alloy) in strict accordance with marine casting acceptance criteria. With high material purity and extremely low impurity content, it is a premium first-grade material specially used for marine propellers. Refined and thermally treated, the alloy features high tensile strength, excellent toughness and a dense and uniform structure. Under complex working conditions including long-term seawater immersion, sediment scouring and rotational friction, it exhibits outstanding resistance to seawater electrochemical corrosion, cavitation erosion, abrasion and fatigue, far outperforming ordinary steel and inferior copper materials. Free from internal casting defects such as pores, shrinkage porosity and cracks, the finished product effectively avoids common faults including pitting corrosion, blade peeling, deformation and fracture during long-term underwater operation. It greatly extends service life, reduces subsequent vessel maintenance costs and downtime loss, and perfectly adapts to the harsh marine environment of high salinity, strong corrosion and heavy working loads.
Adopting a classic four-blade hydrodynamic curved surface structure, this propeller features more uniform force distribution and dispersed load compared with traditional three-blade propellers. It effectively reduces water flow cavitation during operation, greatly lowers hull resonance, vibration and underwater noise, and significantly improves navigation stability. Balancing thrust density and energy-saving performance, the four-blade design matches conventional main engine rotation characteristics, ensuring stable operation and sufficient thrust. The blade surface adopts a manual hammered fish-scale polishing process, with repeatedly optimized curved radian, chord length and inclination angle. Every curved surface strictly conforms to NavCad hydrodynamic calculation data, minimizing water resistance and improving propulsion efficiency. Under the same main engine power, it effectively improves ship speed and reduces engine load, achieving excellent fuel-saving and speed-enhancing effects. The outer edges of the blades are finished with red edge protection, which prevents scratching and damage to the precision surface during hoisting, transportation and installation, while providing a distinct visual mark for construction and protection by shipyard staff.

Every LIFA propeller undergoes a complete set of standardized inspection procedures before delivery, including 3D dimension re-measurement, taper and keyway precision verification, non-destructive testing and overall dynamic balancing calibration. This ensures zero eccentricity and zero jitter during rotation, eliminating potential navigation safety hazards. Customization is available for parameters such as diameter, pitch, hub inner hole size and blade inclination angle. Meanwhile, inspection certificates issued by international classification societies including CCS, BV, ABS and RINA can be provided to meet the compliance and acceptance requirements of domestic commercial vessels and ocean-going export ships.
A small bronze alloy propeller determines the overall navigation experience and operating cost of a ship. Adhering to strict marine precision manufacturing standards, LIFA Propeller controls every production procedure from mold casting and CNC machining to surface polishing, flaw detection and dynamic balancing. With reliable four-blade propeller products, we provide global ship owners with efficient, durable and low-noise marine propulsion solutions, helping every vessel sail steadily across the waves.
