Hoisting, Shipping And Loading Process Of Large-Scale Propellers
Apr 09, 2026
The hoisting, shipping and loading processes of our large-scale marine propellers all follow standardized operating procedures, adhering to the principles of safety, accuracy and efficiency throughout. Relying on the location advantage of the Zhoushan base, we ensure that products are smoothly delivered from the factory to the customer's designated ships. The specific processes are as follows.
Hoisting is the first step in the process, mainly used to transfer large-scale propellers from the production factory to transportation vehicles. Before operation, the technical team will formulate a customized hoisting plan based on parameters such as the weight, size and center of gravity of the propeller, equip suitable hoisting tools and gaskets, and delineate a safe operation area. During the hoisting process, the commander and the crane operator cooperate closely to accurately adjust the hoisting angle, keep the propeller level and stable, avoid collision and damage, and smoothly hoist it onto the transport flatbed truck, ensuring that the hoisting link is safe and controllable.
The shipping link is a seamless connection of rigor and efficiency. After hoisting, the operators quickly carry out comprehensive reinforcement treatment on the propeller, lay soft gaskets at the bottom, and fix them with reinforcement belts from multiple angles to prevent displacement and collision during transportation, and maximize the protection of product accuracy and surface quality. Relying on the location advantage of the Zhoushan base being close to the port, the transport vehicles directly drive into the terminal operation area without long-distance transshipment, which greatly shortens the shipping cycle. At the same time, the staff check the order information and product specifications synchronously, and sort out relevant documents such as material certificates and inspection reports to ensure that each product is traceable and each batch of shipments is accurate, adhering to the bottom line of shipping with a rigorous attitude.
The loading link is connected to the shipping process and completed at the port terminal of the Zhoushan base. The operation team has a clear division of labor, and the commander, operator and safety officer work together in accordance with the loading specifications. The propeller is hoisted by a large quay crane, accurately aligned with the ship's cargo hold or installation position, and the angle is fine-tuned to ensure smooth entry into the hold and accurate positioning. For export orders, customs declaration, document verification and other processes are completed synchronously, and the loading progress is tracked throughout to ensure that the propellers are smoothly loaded onto the transport ships.
The above is the complete process of hoisting, shipping and loading of large-scale propellers. Each link strictly follows the requirements of standardized operations with clear division of labor and collaborative cooperation, which not only ensures that the product quality is not damaged, but also improves the overall operation efficiency. Relying on the advantage of the Zhoushan base being close to the port, rapid and safe delivery of products is realized.
