Cu1, Cu3 Nickel-Aluminum Bronze Raw Material Guarantee

Apr 07, 2026

The durability, corrosion resistance and propulsion efficiency of a propeller depend primarily on the quality of its raw materials. Our factory specializes in the production of marine propellers made of Cu1 and Cu3 nickel-aluminum bronze. We always regard raw material control as the first line of quality control, establishing a full-process guarantee system from raw material selection, incoming inspection to full-process traceability. With strict standards, we ensure that each batch of raw materials meets industry specifications and customer needs, laying a solid foundation for the production of high-quality propellers.

The Cu1 and Cu3 nickel-aluminum bronze raw materials used in our factory are all selected from qualified billets of well-known domestic copper alloy manufacturers, and we resolutely reject inferior and non-standard raw materials. As special nickel-aluminum bronze for marine propellers, the content of core alloying elements such as copper, aluminum, nickel and iron in Cu1 (C63200) and Cu3 (C63000) directly affects the cavitation resistance and seawater corrosion resistance of the product. Therefore, we strictly screen suppliers at the raw material selection stage, only cooperating with large factories with complete production qualifications, years of industry experience and stable product quality, to ensure the purity of the raw material grade, uniform composition and qualified mechanical properties from the source.

When raw materials enter the factory, we implement a "three-level inspection" system to ensure that each batch of raw materials is traceable and verifiable. First of all, we require suppliers to provide a complete "Original Factory Material Certificate" simultaneously, which clearly indicates key information such as raw material grade, production batch, chemical composition and mechanical performance indicators. Only after verification can it enter the next inspection process, preventing raw materials inconsistent with Cu1 and Cu3 standards from entering the factory. Secondly, professional inspectors conduct spectral composition testing on each batch of raw materials. With the help of high-precision spectral analyzers, they test the content of alloying elements such as copper, aluminum, nickel and manganese one by one, accurately matching the standard requirements of Cu1 and Cu3. Once component deviation is found, the raw materials are immediately rejected and the supplier accountability mechanism is activated, fundamentally avoiding product quality hazards caused by inconsistent materials.

At the same time, we establish a complete quality traceability file for each batch of raw materials and each propeller, recording details such as raw material procurement information, test data and production processes throughout the process. When the finished product leaves the factory, we will provide customers with an official "Quality Guarantee Certificate", which clearly indicates that the raw materials used are Cu1 or Cu3 nickel-aluminum bronze, raw material test results, product quality standards and quality assurance commitments. It ensures that the products meet the certification requirements of domestic and foreign classification societies such as CCS, BV and ABS, and meet the use needs in different navigation environments such as ocean-going and coastal areas.

From the strict screening of raw material selection, to the double inspection upon entry, and then to the full-process quality traceability and quality assurance commitment, we control every link of raw materials with a rigorous attitude. Using high-quality Cu1 and Cu3 nickel-aluminum bronze raw materials, we create marine propellers with corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high efficiency, effectively protecting the core interests of customers and winning the long-term trust and recognition of domestic and foreign shipowners and shipyards.
